Presentation

Presenting with Impact

This is no time for women to be shrinking.

There are two development tools you need to increase your influence in your business, brand and work–building skillset and confidence.

When you build confidence, you don’t rush to give your presentation and hit that mute button like you are running for your life.

You are prepared to answer questions you don’t know and are able to address people who want to distract you.

When you build skill, you don’t leave 5 minutes at the end of your presentation for feedback and feel sorry for yourself that no one is giving any.

You know how to build that feedback using engagement strategies in to your conversations.

When you build skill, you don’t worry about the next step, or state that gaining buy-in is SO hard because we’re all online. You know you couldn’t gain buy in even when we were in person. Let’s be honest…that piece is on your confidence.

When you build confidence, you use accurate language to describe your state of being feeling anxious, or depressed instead of ignoring, deflecting and “pushing through”

You intentionally take action to mitigate understanding that you can be resilient and vulnerable all at the same time.

When you feel they are smarter than you and you fumble when you talk.

You prepare and you still don’t get your point across.

You plan on what to say and you start saying things that don’t have anything to do with the topic.

You can’t stay on topic. You are too afraid of the rejection and embarrassment and shame.

You are conscious of your accent, your english, your competence and the way to embrace that is not with ten steps…your challenge is much deeper.

You went to MBA school and still the same thing happens.

You are EXTREMELY hard on yourself

You feel intimidated by status·   Understand they are people just like you
